Hotel automation can include the use of smart devices and systems that can communicate with each other and be controlled remotely. For example, a hotel might use a smart thermostat to automatically adjust the temperature in guest rooms based on occupancy and time of day, or use smart locks that can be remotely controlled to provide access to rooms and other areas of the hotel.
